Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Coast
A helicopter hovering over a popular California shoreline unexpectedly started spinning wildly, eventually dropping height and smashing into a line of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Footage uploaded on the internet depict the helicopter starting to spin near Huntington Beach then descending near the border of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were rushed to the hospital including two who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on Saturday.
Three people on the pavement were harmed. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
